Its summer time and you live in one of the best cities in the county – Denver, CO – so naturally you want to get out of the house and have some fun! Here are 5 fun (and FREE) activities you can enjoy in the Mile High City this summer.
- US Mint Tour – Have you ever wondered how money is made? The Denver Mint makes 50 million (yes… MILLION) coins per day. You can quickly know which of the coins in your pockets were made in Denver by locating the little “D” stamped on the coin. - Colorado State Capital Tour – Nothing stands out in the Denver skyline quite like the gold doomed capital building. Tour this magnificent structure, stand on the front step that is exactly a “mile high”, and sit in on the legislature in session.
